Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! ¡Bienvenidos! Here in our Chisholm Community, we believe it’s always a great day to love and learn.
As leaders, we understand the importance of being respectful, responsible, kind, and safe.
As language learners, we celebrate our own unique identities and cultures while also exploring the beautiful backgrounds of new friends. We honor those here on our blocks of D.C. and all those around the world.
We are a Bilingual-Arts school - bustling and beautiful, serving our students and striving to meet their differentiated needs while equipping them with 21st century skills for their lifelong success.
Our students shine with brilliance in all they do. Our robust extra-curricular activities include athletics, theatre, film in Spanish, and more. Each student is exposed to a broad variety of interests and we encourage them to explore their own unique paths.
Our teachers and staff work in collaboration with our families and caregivers - our village is strong. We share values and collaborate together with a vested interest for our community.
We’re fortunate to have a strong system of partners and supporters who add great capacity to our work, including DCPS, Akin Gump Law Firm, the Marine Barracks, Grace Covenant Church, the Sullivan Family Foundation, City Year, EWDC, and many others.
This new year ahead, we will rally together to increase our students’ academic achievement, their sense of self and belonging by studying leadership and deepening relationships. As we prepare for our upcoming school building modernization, we are excited to co-design the future as we will remain grounded in legacy and love.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2025-2026! En nuestra comunidad de Chisholm, creemos que siempre es un gran día para amar y aprender.
Como líderes, entendemos la importancia de ser respetuosos, responsables, amables y seguros.
Como estudiantes de idiomas, celebramos nuestras identidades y culturas únicas, a la vez que exploramos los hermosos orígenes de nuestros nuevos amigos. Honramos a quienes viven aquí en nuestras calles de Washington D. C. y a quienes viven en todo el mundo.
Somos una escuela bilingüe-artística, vibrante y hermosa, que atiende a nuestros estudiantes y se esfuerza por satisfacer sus necesidades diferenciadas, brindándoles habilidades del siglo XXI para su éxito a lo largo de la vida.
Nuestros estudiantes brillan con brillantez en todo lo que hacen. Nuestras sólidas actividades extracurriculares incluyen deportes, teatro, cine en español y más. Cada estudiante está expuesto a una amplia variedad de intereses y los animamos a explorar sus propios caminos.
Nuestros maestros y personal trabajan en colaboración con nuestras familias y cuidadores; nuestra comunidad es fuerte. Compartimos valores y colaboramos con un interés particular por nuestra comunidad.
Tenemos la fortuna de contar con un sólido sistema de socios y colaboradores que aportan gran capacidad a nuestro trabajo, incluyendo a DCPS, los abogados de Akin Gump, los Marines, la Iglesia Grace Covenant, la Fundación de la Familia Sullivan, y muchos otros.
Este nuevo año, nos uniremos para mejorar el rendimiento académico de nuestros estudiantes, su sentido de identidad y pertenencia, mediante el estudio del liderazgo y el fortalecimiento de las relaciones. Mientras nos preparamos para la próxima modernización de nuestro edificio escolar, nos entusiasma codiseñar el futuro, manteniéndonos firmes en el legado y el amor.
